What is the event?
Organised by Seaside Heritage Network, Historic Buildings & Places, and Heritage Network, the Valuing Seaside Heritage Symposium is a full-day event bringing together heritage professionals, policymakers, practitioners, academics and coastal stakeholders to explore the cultural, economic and community value of seaside heritage.
Explore how seaside heritage supports regeneration, tourism, identity, and sustainability through keynote speeches, including The Lord Bassam of Brighton, panel discussions, and project insights from Saltdean, Ramsgate, Cleethorpes, and Weston-super-Mare.
Gain insight into funding landscapes, enjoy networking throughout the day, and take part in optional activities, including a swim at the iconic lido and beachside “Chips and Chat” networking.
